Up&Up is a Timmins-based nonprofit built for the people who’ve been quietly toughing it out because therapy feels financially out of reach. We’re here for the ones who say, “I know I need help… but I can’t afford it.” The ones who keep pushing through, putting themselves last, and carrying more than anyone realizes.

Our mission is straightforward: we raise money and turn it directly into therapy access for people who can’t pay for it. No maze of forms. No gatekeeping. No “prove you’re struggling.” If cost is the barrier, we’re here to knock it down.

Up&Up was founded in Timmins to fill a gap that’s been ignored for too long: the folks who don’t have benefits, don’t qualify for funded programs, and don’t want to choose between groceries and getting their mental health back on track. We exist because mental health shouldn’t be a luxury item.

Through grassroots fundraising, local events, and partnerships that actually make sense, Up&Up puts Timmins’ generosity to work where it matters: real people, real therapy, real change.

We believe in transparency, dignity, and meeting people where they’re at. No fluff. No corporate-speak. Just a simple idea — when people get the support they need, the whole community rises.
